When you were out with your mentor did he make you double clutch or could you float the gears?

 

That is up to each mentor. Do what you feel you are best at if they don't say one way or the other.

 

When your out with a trainer do you team drive or is he in the passenger seat when your driving. Thanks

 

Your first 50 hours of driving the mentor is teaching from the passenger seat. After 50 hours it is up to the mentor if he wants to go team with you. Some opt for super solo where you do most of the driving but mentor needs to drive a little as well.

Wonder what the avg miles per week are as Super Solo. Where is BlueBonn when I need him. I am getting ready to start to Mentor, and trying to decide if Super Solo or Team. Keep in mind, I am L/O, and looking at the excess mileage charge per month, all miles over 11K, .09/mi

 

Blue just picked up a load outside of Laredo going to Seattle. He has a female student, poor girl, he tells me she is in for a wild ride. I'll shoot him a note to check in here.
