Appreciate that Sid. WSE is on the short list, and I am expecting to recieve a pre-hire from them on Monday, Soooooooooooo... we'll see

Anyway, thanks for the info and the thumbs up on WSE. With so many companies out there, it is hard to make a decision who to give that "first year +" to.

    Take care and Safe Travels!

I have been working for WSE and for the most part they have been the best company to wok for. You dont have all the BS that you go through with these other companies. Yes they are not perfect ut when there is a mistake they handle it right there and then with a quickness. I personnally dont have anything bad to say about them. Another good thing you will find with WSE is that the drivers hae been there for many many years, (longevity) that says a lot about a company. You made a good choice. take the good and roll with the bad if any they wont last long.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information about WSE. They were on my short list to apply to and thanks to y'all I just got up the courage to fill out the short application online. I've never driven a big truck but I've always wanted to and since I've been out of work since February, I figured now is the time.

Thanks again and be safe on the roads! :biggrin_25526:

Hey everyone. I just wanted to let people know that I got an email back from WSE after sending them my DAC release report saying that they ARE NOT doing driver training at this time.

Just wanted to get that out there. Thanks!

The most miles I seen with WSE was 1400-1900 week. and most other drivers say the same. I found unless you were a trainer or a vet of over 5 years you didnt get any miles. i only broke 2000 miles 1 time and it was 2060 to be exact.

Yep, Elm Springs is the main terminal & all dispatching is done from there. They used to dispatch out of Atlanta, Boise & Auburndale as well, but now, it's all been consolidated to Elm Springs.
