Hello I am a new guy from the Bay Area out here in California. I recently passed my CDL permit and now I am beginning training.
I have a friend who is a trucker for a local company and he has been showing me the ropes. I have heard many good things about local schools in this area and hopefully I can attend one when I get the cash.
I used to drive bobtails and I have always enjoyed driving period. My friends father has been a trucker for 35 years my uncle was a feeder driver for UPS for 25 years and I have another friend who is a fully certified diesel mechanic. A mutual friend of ours has been a trucker for several years and told me about an open local position and I decided this might be a good opportunity to get into Class A trucking.
I found this site and it looks very informative! Nice to meet you all.
