Hi Folks I am new to this Forum as a member been reading it for 4 months. I have talked about wanting to be a truck driver most of my life. But when I was young I had a wife and kids to worry about, then I had a tattoo shop for 27 years that would work 7 days a week for 11 months a year so I could just take off and drive the country or ride the hog I had cross country. Now I have hit the ctrl, alt, del button on my life to pursue what I have wanted a long time. I have put my life in storage and sold off all the extras. Now I am ready to Start my driving career. No overhead what so ever . I start school at Napier on the 13 of Febuary and hope to be on the road with a good company by the end of March. I spent to many years stuck in a little box looking out the window at the same view. Now I want to be stuck in a box that has a changing view. I am alone in the world at 49 and Look forward to living on the road. Any advice as to best companies for newbie with dues to pay would be helpful. I am throwing everything i have into this future. I am fit at 5'8" 190lb 33"waist. I look forward to learning everything the veteran drivers have to teach. Thanks for any advice
