You and i know that. They dont hired newbies after 6 months attending trucking school. They are going to send you back to a refresher course when pretty much all your money its gone. Meaning no money no reresher course no trucking job. Arent those companies the same ones that people in this forum keep saying are ripping off drivers all the way ? Thats why i moved up now to ND to see what can i do with this license . Besides i already filled applications with the companies you mention, their recruiters eather said im sorry sir we are not hiring at the moment, or you have to go to school . So whats that nonsense i already went to school .

what they dont tell you (your riends) is what they dont know yet. Companies charge you more when you enroll into their training program. In orther to get into their program the make you sign several papers an one o them is what they take gov. money grant rom your S S. Lets say 35 hundreds max gov grant (state by state is dierent). But their program cost 7k. So guess what you end up paying the rest o the money by working with them. You dont know this is happening because they take it out rom your check gradually. Some companies have outside payroll services and put these weird names charging fees . Thats how they get away with murder. England its not the only one.
The other way around that . is by going to your local dept labor ask 4 a grant to enroll in a local community/or technical college wich is more cheaper. I dont know . Lets see .Just let me know how thinghs go 4 you buddy. Thanks

I am going with Roehl and they made it clear they charge $2,800 total for your CDL and you do not need to pay anything back as long as you drive 120,000 miles which is @ 1 year full time. If you leave you only owe $2,800 which is far less than most schools charge. I couldn't find a school that charged less and guaranteed a job when completed with training. I know a few that left for higher paying jobs that were local and were happy to pay the $2800 back. Good luck to you as well!

same but different i apply with Roehl but after been out 6 month they toll me same story"im sorry sir but we cannot hired you because you been out since 6months you have to go back to take reresher course somewhere else. We only hired people that dont have a CDL . (this is when they kick in on your federal government program that they get from your social security.

Curious. If you have your CDL and have over 6 months experience you should have no problem getting hired with just about anyone. If you just privately received your CDL and then did not drive at all it is expected to need a refresher course. It's the same in flying. Current training when new is very important. Poor planning if anyone pays to go to any school then not start working right away but things happen. That's why they have refresher courses. Good thing. Or what a waste of time and money. Learn from this potential new drivers what not to do.
