Let me put it this way: I went to a computer school run by one of the majors - in the early 70's - someone came in, I am sure it was the instructor, with a cartoon of "computer-operated-screwdriver" which was given the go as a complete joke & today such things are built-in on machinery where it may not even be a lot of use { especially timers on laundromat dryers } but I can see in the operation of the steering wheel in the video that there is some computer control so even though the video is not as real as it appears you also wont find me laughing at it ~ more like non-clinical shock [ that is a fancy way to say cannot see it 'cause not strong enough ] so consider it a "futurist" video rather than what was left at the telecine

This may be a hoax today, but could be a reality one day. As I said earlier, this technology is in some cars right now.

Does what you say, also mean to say, that in the future, all trucks will have to undergo DOT physicals, since they WILL BE driving themselves??

Would a truck low on oil, need to get a 1 year card over a 2 year card??

Would the truck need to take a sleep apnea test??

Will a truck be able to get home when it needs to, or will dispatch keep it out longer??

Will a truck be "DAC'd" when it does something wrong and get's fired??

Will a truck have to go to court and hire a lawyer when it get's a BS ticket.???

I certainly hope, YOUR future predictions are as off the wall as any April Fool's Day joke.

They get double of the nothing they already get!!

    why didn't you know this??

I personally decorate my house with lights that don't work.

My favorite part is how close to the front and rear vehicles that truck is at the end.

BTW, you didn't see any computer driven steering wheel. The bottom of the steering wheel isn't visible.
