Newer truck stamina

My company has been leasing International LTs with X-15 Cummins from Ryder, we got a bunch in 2019 that are all over 500k miles, I drove one last week that had 750k on the odometer. And that’s with Ryder’s 80k service interval. They’ve been pretty much bulletproof for us.

 

That X15 has roughly 5k miles on it and the engine put a view window in the block when it all came apart.

 

I’ll add that we’ve also been buying new Kenworth T680s with the Paccar motor and they’ve been a service nightmare, particularly with the injectors.

my 2007 cat c 13 has 1808000 miles no rebuild(only put a new cyliinderhead from cat on before christmas) runs good mpg 6.8

 

I find that the majority of guys who like cabovers are guys who never drove one. Worse ride, crawling around in the sleeper, laying down to get dressed.

they do have a def system but not an egr
