Why? Rawze loves isx engines. But he finally agreed the cm2250 and up is a pain. And he kicked me from his site. Because I voiced my dislike of elogs.

I don't know about elogs and your issues over at Rawze, not really the site for that. But, the motor we are speaking of is a butcher job...

Is Rawze on this site? Honestly nobody writes their own programming. It's all open source. And if the egr, and Dpf, are tuned right the isx should be good for a long time. Rawze ran his cm2250 to 1 million miles not much internal issues. He ran a 575hp tune. But he was a team driver so low idle. And he could drive 55mph all day that way. His avg mpg at the pump was about 10mpg. And ecm showed 9.3 I think.

Rawze is NOT on this site, and he did write the programming, I have it on my laptop. He was banned quite some time ago here at this site, the reason he created Rawze.com. I have been running his MM2 tune since he created it, with no issues, over three years. I installed it myself with my MacBook Pro and an Inline 5 Reader in my driveway.

Rawze does not have a CM-2250, he has the same motor I have, a CM-871. He runs his motor at 485 hp, same as I do. I have a factory 600 hp... And he is getting around 8-9 mpg, with an APU, 2010 ProStar, I have a 2008 ProStar.

Thanks. I saw there were a few guys on his site that not sure of cm2250 or not. But times like 925hp that ran cool like stock. Than there was a 520hp 2300 tune if I'm correct.

The 2250 and 2350 tunes out there, none by Rawze, but are working with some folks. Unilever and Gearhead along with a few others have done some work with them. But quite honestly, I would not own one of those motors. My cutoff is the CM-871. After that, you are on your own. The fuel pump issue is enough to keep me away. Rebuilding a pump every 300,000 to 400,000 miles is not on my radar, especially when it can put you out of business at any time. And when they go, they destroy the entire motor. You are looking at a $40,000+ bill. No thanks.

Didn’t Cummins upgrade/Fixed those fuel pump problems?

No, they had a recall, and then ended it. The fuel pumps are still blowing apart and taking out motors. Very well documented. Cummins has rebuild kits available, around $350 to $500 ea, + labor unless you do it yourself. The new ISX is said to have minimized the failures, when the pumps blow, the shrapnel is contained and does not take out the motor. But you are still looking at a $5000 to $7000 bill.

I thought the 3 piston pump "ceramic" was easy to remove and install 2 piston pump "non ceramic". I do need to say that a isx at highway speed is the smoothest engine and quietest I've ever drove. Strait pipe and the loudest Jake's on the planet. Get egr and nox codes out of the ecm is the key it seems. But I don't know I'm a Detroit guy.
