Good for you hand ! Top shelf on the super 10 ! I've seen many a veteran that can't handle a super 10. My Co. bought several a few yrs. back with small Cummins and progressive shift turned on. One veteran couldn't get off the yard......... I asked him if he ever ran a air shift 4x4 or 5x4 and he hadn't. I tried to teach him how to big stick it....instead of splitting the first two, just move the stick....still no go.....he went back to the straight 10........( and I got the new truck !!!!!! ) What a deal !!

 

What really bugs me is that we have to cover our butts just to quit a job. I mean no one else has to go through such great length, only us. It's like when some one commits a crime they have to cover there butts to keep from going to jail. We have to do the same thing just to quit, and that really, really bugs me.

A few years ago it wasn't like this but as time goes on it's getting worse. All the backstabbing and false info that's going around is sickening. We don't have DAC in Canada yet and hope we never do. This thing is just wrong and evil.

What we need is a something like a DAC report for the companies that are out there. So far I have only found 2 ways to weed them out, but we could use a website with comments and all to really do the job. I believe a driver that knows how to do this will step up to the plate one day and even out the playing field.

 

I have only one thing reported on my DAC from a company I have never worked for... Or applied to!

Equipment damage from Western Express. Although, I have never worked for or applied to Western Express. I did work for Smithway back in 04 & 05, so I'm sure it is from that. But Western didn't buy SMX until late 07 or early 08.... In my mind, since I quit before the buyout, it should still say Smithway Motor Express.

 

Did you make a rebuttle regarding that lick on your DAC? I thought if a company sold out or was bought out it was removed from your report?

 

I haven't disputed it as of yet....

 

Gotcha.. I would be worried about idendity fraud or something. I'm probably a little over paranoid.

 

It hasn't hurt me.... But then again, I have only drove for 2 carriers since I left SMX in 05. And 1 of those carriers is the one I'm a O/O at. My driving record hurts me the worse..... But I'm learning to slooooooow down
