their are some places you just cant live
Key West and Colebrook NH are 2 of them
if you lived on NH coast their are many more options
later on with experience sometimes the boonies can work -
I am hoping that being less than 40 mi to Berlin NH ( access to Maine from RT 2 )
and only 41 mi to Littleton ( access to I91 and I93 ) will be beneficial .
Still researching . I appreciate the input so far from everyone .

If one believes a hiring map , Hirschback and NFI are no go in my area .
HO Holding might work ..havent looked at Prime .

Melton has an add on indeed.com thats 4 days old. Its a posting for NH .
Melton is flatbed , which is good . Will see what happens when I contact them for a prehire with my zip code
Anyway .... Northern NH deadzone might not be as tragic as I thought . Going to Berlin,NH this morning to get into the WIA program for some funding options for the license and endorsements .

I'm up here a lot and I see a very large number of Prime and Western Express about as well. Though in all honesty you will hate life less with a regional carrier than a mega. Look into Pottles or Hartt as well as Bellavance.
Actually in Greenland at a stop now, heading to Auburn ME in the night.trkrjim Thanks this. -
If the paper mills in Berlin, Groveton and Gilman Vermont hadn't shut down you'd have some options. Bellavance is your best option if they train. 99% of people including myself would probably fail trying to work for a big company living where you live.

There are a couple local residents I dont know which have tractor trailers in their yard/driveway on occasion . I know one of them drives trees .
Logs are a serious business up here ...its like every day , many times ..but a different name on every truck so I am guessing thats O/O's or small mom and pop shops .
I guess I could knock on a door when I see one of the locals parked on hometime , but almost hate to intrude . Specially since I would be the dumb newbie asking a vet about something I am probably not able to get for 12 months after getting a cdl and safe miles .
