The rear axle of the booster in the video from J&B looks to be a pin on setup that can flip over so thats why I was thinking they could set it up as a 3axle. You know the stinger then 2 pin on axles. And yes the rest of the setup would need to be built for it to handle the weight. But say you buy it as a 3+3+3 rated appropriately for the weight set up but only need to run a 1 or 2 axle booster for a particular load you could leave the extra tare weight at home saving on maintenance and permit costs?? Guess I’ll cruise on over to Aspen’s site n do some lookings.

If built it as a3/3/3 you would be building it as a 75 ton or 80 ton trailer and the deck height and rare weight and cost involved you would not be running it a 3/3/2 to save 3000 pounds of tire weight and you would already be long enough that you will not really save on pilot cars. With a day cab, you would be lucky to be under 120’ long.

I dont know the heavy haul world so learning new things and was just thinking if it was modular enough and if you hauled enough different equipment it could save on costs some to have a kind of a ones size does most kinda trailer.

Cool deal so then most likely to have a “big” trailer and a “small” trailer I guess. Makes since as we do the same thing in my company. 2 axle tankers for 48,000 net loads and 4 axle tankers for 60,000+ net loads.

I hit him up on the CB one day to compliment him on the Nice gleaming white Pete and asked him what was in it.
