At the back of the trailer well, underneath the main deck, there are a set of big pins. Have a forklift support the rear deck near the pins to the point of where you can remove these pins. The deck extension will have a place to match up here and pin in, and also another set of pins to pin the trailer wheels on...basically extending your deck well another 4-5 ft on this trailer. You wil probably have to add shims to the back to get the trailer to ride at the height that you need it to be. And yes, it would completely change the turning geometry. Definitely not an easy trailer to work.
Heavy Hammer used to run a 2+2+2 beam trailer with an extension in it giving him 56 ft in the trailer well. That is one BIG trailer. How big? Take your normal stretch RGN (29ft in the well and a 20 ft stretch) stretch it out all the way and you will have 49ft in the well. The add the 2 axle jeep and 2 axle stinger and a 7ft deck extension. Mileage pay? Start with obscene, but that's a buttload of work just to get prepped to load.
