Younger guys have a tougher time staying awake. That’s a fact, they need more sleep. If you feel at all tired have a nap. Screw dispatch! I run linehaul nights 20:00 to 06:00 22 years now. I don’t get tired, don’t yawn or blink for a variety of reasons.
BTW. I take a nap at midnight, 30 minutes or more
The majority of the wrecks I see it’s obvious driver nodded off

Just stick one of those tooth picks in your mouth. That high speed chicken feed works wonders!;)

Not every night. Some stretches are particularly bad for some reason. I saw 3 southbound from Mt Vernon on I-57 one night. Some are easy to miss because it took out electrical and no one responded yet. Some look like construction because they have barricades up and construction signs saying lane closed. Many are really more late evening or early morning.

Mineral Deficiencies. Drinking distilled water robs your body of its natural source for many minerals essential to good health. This results in mineral loss in the body with increases your risk for osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism, hypertension, coronary artery disease and premature aging.
