Night shift beginner

    Again, I've been doing this 23 yrs, 90% of my days start between 2:30 and 3 am, I understand your question, the answer is pay attention, that's what windows and mirrors are for. 99% of truck accidents, are common sense failure to pay attention, slow down, pay attention, look before you do things, pay attention. If it's that difficult for you, I've got some customers that you would absolutely despise, Whole Foods warehouse, receiving docks are unlit, no lines on the ground, you back in using your mirrors and the reflection of your 4-ways on the building, PITA, yep, but we do it couple times a week. I've got an indoor dock that we deliver A/C and furnace units to, always a 5 am appointment, there are two lights on either side of the dock, that's it, and you can't see them until you are perfectly lined up, we do it twice a week. It's called paying attention.
