Sysco Cleveland will absolutely throw you out to the wolves. We've had multiple newbies get thrown out on a full route within one week. I was training for 2 days getting ready to go out for a thrid day with a trainer and they called me back in from the fuel island and gave me my own route because someone had called off. It was routed for 16 hours and had almost 1000 cases. The only life saver was the south side supervisor helped me on 4 or 5 stops so I got done within the 16.

One foot on the brake, the other on the fuel. Press down on the fuel peddle and slowly take your foot of the brake at the same time. Got to learn real quick how to use both feet with those. Been driving one for almost two years now. Takes time to get use to but for city delivers, they are good(I hated mine at first:biggrin_25525:).

No, I had the chance to get hired with UPS Freight so I took it. I was with Sysco around a year. We had a revolving door at the bottom of the seniority list with the way Cleveland ran operations. If they were run like Pittsburgh, I still would have been there.
