I’ve been off duty all day waiting on him to route me to a terminal after he said “working on it “ and he wants me to pick up this one so that I can swap with somebody so that I can go to Nashville, but I’m not sure if I should do this or not because he hasn’t kept his end of the deal and the guy I just talked to at Western said he’s gonna reach out to someone who handles situations like this tomorrow morning; personally I don’t know why I wouldn’t be good since I contacted breakdown and filled out one of those reports and it’s past due to be brought in

Where do you live? How experience do you havE? @Chinatown
I would ask them for a motel in writing. If your close to home, just tell them your coming in and it has to be fixed before you head out. You could ask for a different truck. If you leave it take your stuff with you, I would think. What are you making a mile? Do you get enough miles? Endorsements?farmerjohn64 Thanks this. -
I’m just starting out, got out of training a week ago; I live in Louisiana, long way from Wisconsin77fib77 Thanks this.

Most, not all dispatchers only care about the load getting picked up and delivered. And they will tell you WHATEVER you want to hear to accomplish that. Please don't take this as an insult, buy no means do I mean it that way. But I know you mentioned in past posts about things not working out at the previous carriers. Just take that into consideration, when making your decision. But of course don't let anyone take advantage of you either.D.Tibbitt and farmerjohn64 Thank this.

I think I’m gonna pick it up just to cover my butt and tomorrow I should hear back from someone about this
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Tought it out! You'll get through this just keep communicating your displeasure with not being able to cool your #### truck down and it's unsafe to drive without proper rest. Impossible to sleep when it's 90+ degrees in the truck.D.Tibbitt and farmerjohn64 Thank this.

I’m lmao because I was just about to head out when he said, “Nvm, they’re about to close.” The reason being it’s about an hour and 30 minute drive to get there and I haven’t even sat here that long playing hard ball, so he apparently can’t read a clock very well and tried to send me on an impossible load
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Hope I did the right thing here @TripleSix
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Wisconsin is cooler than most places to sit the 4th. But your dry box they rarely stop.
