Main office is located in Nebraska, with drop yards in several states.

Job Description:
Driver will be hauling preloaded hazardous waste trailers to our customers facilities in various states and to our drop yards. Most loads are shipped in drums, customer load.
Many loads are drop and hook, no touch. MINIMAL EAST COAST

Requirements:
Hazardous Material Endorsement
Must be at least 25 years of age with minimum 3 years experience driving Tractor/Trailer due to insurance requirements
Must have current long form physical and card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT Drug Screen
Recent DMV printout needed (within 2 weeks)
Good driving Record
Beards not permitted, must be willing to shave due to federal DOT requirements

Benefits paid after 90 days for company drivers
Owner Operators receive 100% fuel surcharge.
All permits supplied by Carrier.
Physical damage insurance is paid by contractor, cargo & trailer insurance paid by carrier, with no charge to contractor.
Base plates are available through carrier.

Equipment:
Tractors are 2002 and newer Freightliners, mid-roof and condos, 470 Detroit with 10 speeds, and are not governed below 75 mph.

It's a HazMat thing. It has to do with the proper fit of a respirator.

Anything else about Clean Harbors. Anyone ever been to their New Jersey Yard?

If you run for them will they pay? and how about the manual labor end of it for a CDL A Driver?

Recently I talked to a Clean Harbors guy out of the Kimball NE office. He absolutely loved his job. Said they didn't screw with him at all, just gave him his route orders and as long as he got it done he didn't hear from the office. Pay was good, and he was home every night for 10 and weekends.

I've unloaded at Clean harbors in Cleveland. No problem there with a tanker. If you are going to be hauling hazardous waste some of the disposal sites can really be a pain. They will pull a sample of what you have and test it. If its any different than what the hazardous waste manifest says it is you will probably be taking it back to the shipper, or another disposal site. We used to haul waste water for Dupont to their disposal facility in Deepwater NJ. A few times I had to take the load back because the ph was higher than what the manifest said. Hauling hazardous waste is really a pretty easy job, but make sure you are going to get paid for detention time.
