How dare that mean man fire you for failing a cruel drug test !!!!!!!
Come now ... let me pat you on the head and make you feel better .....
Marksteven, KW Cajun and Richter Thank this. -
Not sure, did you post what you came up positive for? If it was Pot or Coke, there is no reason for an MRO to call you, they are illegal drugs. If you got popped for a scripted drug that your company KNOWS you are on, thats a different issue. I am on a permanent script for Tramadol which is a synthetic Opioid. My HR dept knows and has a letter on file from my Rheumatologist stating that i am ok to drive on it 8 hrs after i take it so they are aware that it will be in my system. Do you have a similar situation? If not then what did you expexct? -
That wasn't THAT funny until i saw the smiles at the end....LOLOLOL

I have a hard time believing this "guy". He stated earlier it was a '70 Corvette, then changed it to a '72 later in the posts. Take it from someone that has worked in the legal and medical fields: if your prescription is expired and you continue taking it, you will NOT be covered under that prescription for that medicine. All pill bottles have an "expiration" date on them. That means your Dr. has determined what the maximum amount of time it would take you to use all the pills they prescribed you. If you follow their prescription, you will not have any left past that date.
Also, legally speaking: if you are on vacation (paid vacation given by the company) then you are STILL subject to the random drug tests. Which means, they can call you in while you're on vacation and have you pee in a cup! We went through the same thing here at the company I am with now with an EX-employee. He went on vacation, company paid, and text another employee stating what he was doing (he was so screwed up he didn't realize he text the wrong person). Well needless to say that employee had to go to the nearest ER and get drug tested, the employer paid for everything. He was fired when he came back off vacation.
Simple enough though, if you had to have that medicine then you should have taken the time to contact your Dr. and get a new prescription.
Thank you by the way, you just opened up a job opportunity for someone that won't abuse the system and make stupid mistakes!Joetro, tow614, KW Cajun and 1 other person Thank this. -
