They should go to 80000lb gross/tandems for all trailers, our horrible roads and inexperienced driver problems would be a lot less of an issue, park the rate cutting super b’s and LCV’s in the scrap pile, pretty simple problem solving.......

The issue is not the weight or size of the truck. The problem is idiots thinking Saskatchewan is desolate and your chances of blowing through a country intersection without incident are actually pretty good. Does that mean it should be attempted? Sure as hell not when there's a tree line blocking the view!
How many times does it have to be said? These imports do not value human life, and their activity shows it. They go back to how they drove in their home country thinking it's all good here since we are so accepting and forgiving. Just this time the real ultimate worst happened. If a cop or scale inspector sees something wrong what do they do? Often times, not much, because they know the import will cry foul that he's being picked on and this is some kind of oppression. Give me a F break.
I wonder when the official report will be released, or if it will be released to the public at all. It's been about 3 months now. How long do these things usually take?Phantom Trucker and AModelCat Thank this. -

I just don't understand why they haven't told the public the specifics of the crash by now. the witness waiting at the stop sign on the other side of the intersection where it happened lives an hour north from where I am. mutual friends have the firsthand account, as well as the RCMP investigators. she is under specific order not to talk to media about what she witnessed, she stated the truck ran the stop sign.

Since such an order would be unlawful, it doesn't exist... and she has spoken to the media.

Humboldt Broncos bus crash: Pregnant witness calls 911, experiences labour pains
However, I am sure the RCMP asked her to not divulge details so that it doesn't taint the outcome if any potential criminal charges are brought.uncleal13, upnorthwpg, gokiddogo and 1 other person Thank this. -
Somewhat relevant regarding the media:
If the Media Calls: A Guide for Crime Victims & Survivors
If a police investigation is ongoing or criminal proceedings are underway, media coverage can affect this process and potentially impact the criminal case. It is important to discuss what you can and cannot say with the police, Crown Attorney or victim services prior to speaking with the media.
That is why the police haven't said anything and why they ask witnesses to do likewise. It isn't some grand conspiracy involving a former drama teacher, red serge wearing horsemen and people from far away lands.gokiddogo Thanks this. -
Our “Prime Minister” loves those “people” maybe that’s why it’s still hush hush? Mr pm probably will invite the guy over n hand him a cheque lol we alllllll know how they drive from where they come from, hold the horn on n giver #### life is little value over there, they could’ve released details by now I’m sure......
