Healthcare.
Then.
Home schooled two children with Special Healthcare needs. Saw them both through college.
Yep. Big gap.
They came first.
Father was bread winner.
He traveled. Gone 90% of the time. Admits he missed 98% of their lives.
I took the kids to all their doctors specialists and therapists. As well as home schooled them.
He lost his dream job. Couldn't take it. He left to "find himself."
I still had the youngest with Autism living with me. Struggling to finish her Associate's degree.
After the divorce finally went through, I moved to Washington State with that child to give her a chance to get her Bachelor's in the Japanese Language.
sigh.
What more do you want to know?
Yes.
I know this does not look good on a resume.
Frankly.
I don't really care. It was worth every second. Every penny.
If there isn't a Carrier that will sign me on after the CDL class and successful attainment of the CDL License.
I will worry about that road when I get there.
I am sure there is more I could tell you. But. Chances are you've already bored and stopped reading.
Let's just say. I didn't sit at home eating bon bons.
And
Leave it at that.
Otherwise I risk making their father look bad and I do not want to do that.
We both sacrificed a lot for these children and I do not hold it against him that he left.
I just was not finished yet with the youngest.
That was my job and my commitment.
I was determined to see it through.

You have it wrong, I was curious wondering if changing jobs or even lifes commitments before had stressed you like this one seems to, and if you got over it before you should be able too on this deal too.
You have not got to the part to stress yet, this part should be an adventure in my mind anyway..
Good luck, and there is always carriers that will hire you, nothing in that resume should hold you back in this business.Gamgee Thanks this. -
No. I am gonna remember what you said and not say anything. Even if the instructor and classmates ask me,
"So. What did you do before?"
I will say nothing.
I lived under a rock.

I loved Washington State. I would still be there if my daughter did not ~ ~ ~
I moved back for her.
Bought an old farm home.
Dog's retirement home. Think I mentioned that in another thread.
Thanks again for the encouragement.
No. I handled all the moving details to Washington just fine. And there was a lot to do. A lot involved.
Absolutely loved it there. Became my home. I was a part of community. Very involved.
The move back to Illinois has been well. I left a lot behind. ~ Back in Washington. ~ Perhaps some can understand that.
Gotta move forward.
