That place was a rat hole. I ate there once I got chicken parmigiana and the chicken was spoiled. I never ate there again. It wasn't like the cook could not smell it either. As soon as the plate was in front of me I smelled it.

The death of what was once a good truck stop when it was in private hands. RIP

Ain't that the truth. That's where I bought my General Lee CB (still kicking after 10 years)from the CB guy right next to the fuel desk. I ate there many times and they had good food. So peelot has leveled the Frystown All American and Johnnies, both were my stopping places when I ran out of Mechanicsburg. So much for nostalgia. What they've done to Bosselman's is criminal. Watch out Sapp Bros., I'm sure Peelot is gunning for you as well.double_r Thanks this.

its all turning to fast food, bull####,hows one to eat right with all this crap, some of us like to sit down and have a good hot meal
Logan76 Thanks this. -
You just had and go and bring up Johnnies didn't you. That was one of my favorite places to stop for lunch when I ran our NJ road route. I refused to stop there after Pilot took over. The Frystown All-American was one of my layover and dinner stops(as well as a few liitle places that I won't mention
) if I was on 78 and didn't have the hours to make it to Carlisle to the Petro. In all honesty, I refuse to stop at ANY Pilot.

RR just thought you might want to know you left out a E back there.

Sure, now someone tells me, after I went back and edited the post
Guess I should proof read a little better next time.

Yeah Johnnies really ticked me off as well. I was leased to Carlisle Carrier and that was our hangout. Sure it was a dump, but the food was decent, and the workers were long term and would get to know you, and you could usually find parking unless 78 was really wrecked up. Yeah, I won't put the small places online either, otherwise they'll be full of Swift trucks, or the Peelot buyers will try to own it.
