Funny...I just stopped to do that. I brought some with me and covered it with duct tape. I rode from Maryland to Nebraska now and I'm going into Denver with the snow they're getting now. I'm about to put it on and see what it does. Hopefully it works because I'm freezing my butt off in here.
No heat while driving

Wow. I have seen some water on the pass side floor and didn't know where it was coming from. I thought my windshield was leaking on that side.

The confusing thing about Prostars or Internationals, is that they didn't put a inside/outside air switch in these trucks. So no matter what, air is constantly coming through the vents while driving. I can adjust the temp of the air by adjusting the temp control but I have to close and/or cover the vents while driving because I can't stop the air flow. Floor, defrost, face, it doesn't matter. Air always flows while I'm driving. First truck I've seen that didn't have a fresh air switch.

O
The cardboard didn't work. It's still blowing cold. -
OK, so do you have hot water at the firewall or not?

When I drove a Columbia I was always freezing too once I covered the grill it started heating up a little bit. And it was fine. And I drove from Cali to Denver 2x a week too

I've driven a Columbia for 3 years and never had to use a winter front improperly. Always wondered why folks ran around cooking their motors like that.

Hate to say it but it could be a head gasket...usually they do the oppisite though....no heat when idling..Jabows Thanks this.

My temp gaguge during winter was sitting on freezing. Changed thermostat and still no change when i was hauling light i had to wrap my self in a blanket snd winter clothes. My windows use to frost on the inside. It got bad. Sold the truck at just a million miles never had issues. So that must mean the motor wasnt "cooked" lol. The motor being that cold is worse than cooking it.
