Saw online that Central Refridgerated had loads of ads on job website in Connecticut. So filledout online application only to get a response that "due to a shortage of trucks" that they are not hiring inmy area?!?!
Yet they are advertsing throughout the state of CT for drivers, noexp. required- training offererd.

    Go figure?

Funny thing is - I don't even want to live in CT. I am willing and want to move out west.

Did you tell a Recruiter that or did you just fill out an app and send it in... If the latter how are they supposed to know that?

The job posting package they purchased for the internet probably just includes that region. Internet advertising is a tricky one...LOL!

Why do people use those internet services that mass apply?

Call and talk to a recruiter at the companies 1-800 number.

But yeah they nailed it some service of theirs put that add in but they probably do not have the freight base to domocile drivers in CT.

Side advice if you want to move do it, but do not make it a deal with your job.
