I am considering doing the same I am going to buy a storage shed and put it on my parents property use there address and live out on the road I don't have to keep paying 450 a month for the room I am living in now. as far as taking a Bicycle I have seen several trucks with small Motorcycles strapped on just behind the sleeper. As far as internet goes for the last 2 years I have had a Virgin Mobil hotspot I pay 35 dollars a month and as long as I get 4 G service is unlimited there is even a adapter that you can get that will allow you to hookup a external car antenna for improved coverage. I hope to star with Swift and drive for them until my training is paid for live on the truck and get a nest egg built up and then I should have enugh to get my own place in western MT or ID panhandle as the Puget Sound is just getting to crowded expensive for me.

No reason why you should not be able to make that work, Postman. While SWIFT probably isn't the best company to work for, it beats flippin' burgers or standing in the welfare line. If you watch your spending at the truck stops, you should be able to save money. Of course, you have to be determined to do it. Sometimes a driver will hit the truck stops out of just plain boredom and spend money unnecessarily.

    Good Luck!
