No idea what to think...

As I said descimination against a protected class is illegal. Not being a racist. I believe all individuals need to be judged on their own merits. However, I also believe that in America we have the right to be what we want as long as the actions we take based on those beliefs don't infringe on the rights of others.

 

Many people feel impowered when they can look down on others. Suppose that's it for some. For others manybe not. If you believe you were descriminated against in the work place you should pursue it. Most places I worked had a policy that outlines how to deal with it. I got one on my first day of orientation at my current employer. Good luck.

 

Go after that to if you want. I suppose it struck me since you started with it. Suppose I would be more offended by being discriminated against than somebody trying to commit a fraud against their employer. Would not allow they to use me in their plan though.

 

Can I answer that? A racist gains peer group approval and peace of mind. He seeks it out in fact. As a rule his predudice makes him feel good because it gives him what he sees as self understanding. Peer group approval gives him validation.
Most real racists are afraid. They're afraid of what they don't understand and that can cover a lot of territory.
They see things happening that they see no root cause for and they take refuge in their beliefs.
Most racists are also cowards. Beware though, their cowardice doesn't make them less dangerous.
Look, everybody doesn't like somebody. If people don't like a person based on that person's religion or their ethnicity there really isn't anything we can do about changing their minds. They believe in what they take for truth with so much enthusiasm that they give up the right to examine any other point of view.
That's the way it works. You need to either develop some coping tools and learn to use them properly or find yourself a work environment where you don't have to deal with idiots.

Bro, if you want a dang office job, then go get one. As the mod said, trucking has all sorts. You coming in here complaining about it and wanting to 'tame' truckers makes me sick. I also look with a crooked eye upon your assertions about your trainer(s). Im thinking there was also conflict of other sorts so youre doing your best to put him in the gutter. Then youre trying to say that your 2nd trainer is a thief.

If you want clean, prim, and proper, go work in a frilly, poltically correct office environment.
