I almost went to Martin. They don't pay scales, Canada is not required and hazmat isn't either. They pay detention and layover pay.

I had already been approved by System/TWT, but it was going to be a bit of a wait for an open truck/trainer. Lots of new graduates in the last month. So, since I had a May pre hire I figured I could get my foot in the door. I think I just pissed off the recruiter by going over her head. But, imagine that...I called TWT back and they found me a truck. So I kinda owe the wench. But don't tell her I said that! Lol

when i was first looking around at companies, I read up on here... which I actually was a member on here years before I finally went to a school lol. but most of what I read about prehires was that it was nothing more than a letter saying you've applied with them

Well, I made it through orientation and I got a trainer...we're headed from here to tri cities, then so cal (can't remember where), then to phoenix...here we go
