during the day i wait until i see the driver look to see if he/she has enough room to get back over. At night i wait until the truck has enough room to come back over safely than i flash my ' low beams'.

When i flash my lights i usually get a flash back. I turn my headlights off for several seconds at night. This also takes a lot of glare off the other guys' mirrors and lets them see their position compared to you easier.

Not as bad as it sounds with the other truck lighting up the road ahead.

Yeah, the other trucks tail lights and my front marker lights keep it lit. Also, a lot of times theres street lights and those light stuff up too.

But it gets them to notice. :)

I remember one time when i was new, i had a jerk of a codriver who was just as new as i was, but was a super trucker. he'd sit in the passenger seat and flash my headlights at people as soon as they cleared my bumper and thank people for NOTHING when i pass them. I constantly yelled at him about this. Some people..

Guy works at a cracker barrel now. LOL
