and if you hadnt thrown your handbook away like im sure that you did right after you got out of your trainers truck you would have these resources, but either way its your responsibilty. so go back to your $1000 a month insurance you will not be missed. i can assure you of that,

sorry if someone too it the wrong way but it wasdirected at cplmac
-
Unnecessary, regardless of who it was directed at.
Never saw him claim to know it all, either. Most of his posts are pretty biased, actually. But i doubt you'd know that since you've only been here long enough to make 47 posts. -
who cares how many posts i have? because i sit here and read what everyone says that makes me less than you? i choose not to say anything because this is how it ends up. as far as his posts being biased, i disagree. when your trying to get started with a company and you come here and call the orientation director a tool thats when i lose all respect. you might not remember that but i do.Wolfpack Thanks this.

Don doesn't do load securement anymore. So his opinion on this is moot.
Just to let all the potential TMC drivers know.
How does sharing a negative opinion about someone make him a know it all? I don't know many people that have gone through load securement that will deny CPL's comment about Don, to be honest. Don was a ####y SOB who DID think that he knew it all. Personally, I got along with the guy, talked to him every time i was in DSM, but that doesn't mean everyone else will share my opinion of him.
If you can't stand someones opinion, perhaps you could be a little more objective about the matter by stating WHY your opinion is different, or WHY you disagree with what's being said here, instead of stooping to the level that you claim to hate so much.
Maybe it's the way that you're saying it? -
I think your wasting your breath eckz, I'm pretty sure strnspeed is George the TMC instructor from Des Moines. I did find my quick reference book by the way, thank god too, I'd hate to be one of those guys who just tosses everything out when they leave their trainers truck.
-
i cant say about don but they are trying to give you the TOOLS to be successful at TMC. but i have had interactions with george and he is cool as hell. so what i am gathering you both started at TMC and you have no comparison to any other driving jobs. and cpl your straight truck does not count because it is not otr job but i consider it because you have dealt with the idiots out there. but i cant say that either it wasnt a job that required you to sleep in a truck. or was it? and eckz if you want to get into a p##sing match i have twice your experience. so if you want to say im not a driver you need to pm me. then we will hash it out.

Why are you quoting and then not even bothering to respond to the quote?
You're completely ignoring every attempt at an intelligent conversation here... Clearly, you have more experience in pissing than I. -
just to get a reaction from you. you have absolutley no business in this since you are unemployed and sitting on your ### sucking up money from those of us that are working. clearly i can DRIVE circles around YOU. so maybe its time to get off the couch and go back to work. and you can have me banned for saying ###, i really dont care.
-
You don't know anything about me or my driving ability, so now that's not clear. Sorry.
I guess you've missed the unemployment threads about how the good companies have stopped hiring? You should get out more. Why would i drive for swift at 400 a week when i'm making that on unemployment? Seriously, wake up. Also the companies unemployment insurance pays for unemployment, not you.
It's their own fault anyway. If i was such a crappy employee i wouldn't even be eligible for unemployment lol.
Also, you don't deserve to be banned, i'm all up for a debate, i'm not that vindictive nor am i taking anything on here personally.Last edited: Aug 9, 2009
