The longest I've had to wait at the International dealer for a repair, warranty or otherwise, has been two days. And then only because it was a weekend and I was waiting until Monday for a part.
There's no need to wait for approval for OEM warranty. The dealer can pull up your truck and instantly knows what's covered. At least at an International dealer.
