    Well fellas, I called again this morning and was told that nothing was available, at both the local company and Swift. Then, maybe an hour later Swift calls me back and says an opening just came up....for this coming tuesday and can I make it? Umm...DUH! So it looks like I may be starting with Swift this coming tuesday, Jan 19th. She said she will get the rest of my paper work going and get back to me. I will have 3 days of orientation in Columbus, OH. Not sure yet if I leave out with a trainer straight from there or go home first. I have a few questions I will have to ask her. Once I get going, I'll start a new thread about my adventures with Swift. (I know, yet ANOTHER thread about Swift! LOL)

    Hang in there guys, it'll happen if you want it to!

    I have been talking to the o/o and the o/o dept at Swift to get my ducks in a row to get back on a truck. I scanned in my CDL and med card and then emailed it to my contact at Swift. Prior to that, I had to fill out a 14 page app and have my gf fax it for me. It's still looking iffy for me to be getting on the truck this coming Monday.

    Thanks, Billy. I heard back from the recruiter tonight. I'm all set to start next tuesday! I did find out that I'll leave with the trainer right after orientation.
