    My purpose was not to circumvent the rules but rather to bring a small amount of humor to an often bleak world, I apologize for that and feel free to discount this post. I'm new here and am looking through many of the threads and finding lots of valuable information. Thanks for a great forum!

    No apology necessary. You'd be surprised at how many people try to reach the seven post minimum by stacking several one-liners on top of each other.

    Really, it doesn't take long to get there. Just find something to discuss and jump in. Welcome to the site.

    But avoid social areas where posts dont count.

    Areas like political and social talk.

    A good place to start is the welcome area. Say hi and reply to all that respond, you will quickly get to that 7 in no time!
