no start Dd15 2010 freightliner cascadia

    Here is my problem. You turn the key let the guages ddo there thing turn the key to the crank position and there is a 4-5 second delay before the starter will crank. And the motor will not fire.

    when turning start key, check with multimeter if you have 12v on the starter relay, solenoid, starter

    I doubt that's his problem since it will crank but won't start. I'd be checking codes if it won't fire.

    Step #1 for a crank no start condition is to check for fuel leaking out the bottom of your EGR hot pipe at the back of the EGR cooler. If you do get it started it could run away if there is fuel entering your intake. I'd say 70% of the time it's a stuck injector that causes a no start and dumps fuel in everything on the exhaust side.
