Those lights do strike me as kind of dumb and I'm not sure how they run them without getting busted due to their resemblance to police lights. But they definitely grab your attention.

That last statement has too much truth to it. If you do wait a second too long to cut out in front of another truck, physics is going to kick you both in the teeth.

 

I wasn't saying anything to you and I understood what you said. I was responding to the OP.

It's one of the biggest gripes I have about truck drivers! It's as if they have NO depth perception when they are coming up on someone and HAVE been coming up on them for a few minutes at least and just hit the blinker and think they automatically have the right of way because they have a blinker on! And are in a truck! (so freaking what?) That thing is for "SIGNALING YOUR INTENTIONS", not screw you I'm coming over!

 

Cept for that one truck I saw with a big sign on that back that said "Turn signals are not a request!" That was right under the one that said "PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals."

Course that was a bull hauler and he was passing everyone anyway.

 

Aint that the truth. Except for when you do got time and room and some bozo gasses on it cuz he dont want you in front of him. Then it means screw you I'm coming over.

And Scuby, I think if you have your convex mirror adjusted right you should have no blind spots to your immediate left, I'm not talking two or three lanes over, just the closest to you.

 

Like the one's who think they are so cute and original with PASSING SIDE and SUICIDE.
That's real good for public relations alright.
