What a turn signal means to a driver= I am working my way that way. What a turn signal means to a 4 wheeler. I am about to switch lanes, hurry up and cut me off; so I don't slow you down a few seconds on your journey..:biggrin_25524:

Eh, I thought it was funny. The WIDE TURNS warning signs have no effect anymore, so may as well use something that gets attention. It's better than the usual "Show your tits!" written in the dirt on the back of a Swift trailer.

I believe I went up this stretch of I40 today the thread originated about Cookeville, TN area. ###### I was light loaded able to climb all those hills without even dropping below 60. Then I got stuck behind a PRIME and a parking lot crawling up it at 35 mph. Still I stayed in my lane despite being very annoyed.

That area right there is where I wonder why they have that lane restriction posted. Are they just assuming all trucks will get out there and slow everyone down? If I'm light, I'll admit it, I'll go into that left lane. But I don't hang there. I'll pass and get back over. Obviously a lot of these lane restrictions are for nothing else than getting money from us.

Being a glasshalffull kinda person, I always try to put a positive spin on that situation.
Better to be stuck behind that truck for a few miles than have to drive it full time.

    FriedTater Thanks this.

True, although I have had several primes fly by my FFE snail. Just when I am loaded light (like this load) she does climb hills very good. Actually even with 40 in the box she still does pretty good on hills, I just wish I had a higher topend speed lol.

Very refreshing to see someone take responsibility for their actions in these days of no accountability/consequences.

Its only a matter of time until these lane violaters get caught, and when they do the fine is huge. Its all about attitude and good drivers v.s. bad which we have with all drivers on the road. I would ask law enforcement to step up there pesence in this area. Maybe the word will get out to truckers that they may be in line for a hefty fine.
