For the past couple days there is a strange noise coming from the rear of my truck above 30mph plus. It sounds just like a tire with low air a clicking noise. I've checked all the tires, all full with air. I've got underneath the truck and nothing seems to be out of place. I only hear it if the window is open and I don't feel it at all. It's a volvo 780 truck. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

would'nt be as simple as a stone lodged in a tred would it?

Have you checked the Rear most drive shaft going to the other axle? I've heard them clicking once the caps go bad

That leaves only 2 million possibilities left.

Roll your window down, and get up to the speed the noise starts and apply the brakes. What does the sound do?
When you let off of the throttle, what does the sound do before you hit the brakes?
Does your antilock brake light flicker at all?
Does the noise occur with all trailers? -
Could be metal chunks from your 3rd member
