Noise Level

A stock tractor in good shape is not bad at all. If you get a loud one, just by yourself some ear plugs. Once you get used to the noise inside the truck it will seem silent at home in bed.

I had a truck tire blow up in my face back in 1989 so I have tinnitus in both ears so it is pretty loud any where I go.

My 09 Freightliner is very quiet, even with the Jake.My first trucks were very loud.I don't think that they thought much about driver comfort back in the stone ages.

 

Even with the newer trucks, if you're used to driving a Lexus, it will be very loud.

 

CommDriver how many drivers do you know drive a Lexus. I don't know of any.

 

I don't either. But I still think big rigs are loud, new or old.

 

I know a couple...But I see no reason to drive a Lexus whan there's a perfectly good Corvette in the garage.
