Hey guys just wondering if anyone on here has ever done a swap from a studio sleeper to a flat top. How hard is this to do and what should I look out for?

I'm assuming that's a "Gen II" studio sleeper with a small hole?
-
What year is your Studio? I might be interested in it.
-
Yes it is. It’s got the small hole and no leg room.
-
it’s off of a 98.

As far as I know the only issue would be if you're going to like a 48 inch flat top from a 72 inch studio the mounts may have to be moved around a bit. You having it big holed while you're at it?

Yea. There’s no shops in my area that will do it so I’m going to try to do it myself. I want to shed a little weight and I like the look of the flat tops a lot better. But yes the big hole is what I’m really after. I need the leg room.

It should "simply" be a matter of moving the back sleeper mounts forward to where they would need to be. Be sure to brace up the back corners good, I've heard of people having to redo it after a few years because the door jams sag from a lack of bracing.

Ah, ok, won't work
