Don't laugh. I was speaking to a Medical Examiner I know a while back and he told me there might be some changes coming to the physicals in the next 5 to 10 years. One is a pulse oximeter and another was only issuing a provisional medical card pending lab work to see if a drivers Cholesterol levels are within legal range to drive. The DOT is going to tighten up on sleep apnea and everything dealing with the heart and respiration. The last few years? Only a preview of coming attractions. This is why I constantly try to get drivers to understand you have to stop eating some of that garbage. You can eat this way at 25. However by the time you near middle age it will catch up to you!

New study from CARB, people exhaling greenhouse gasses.
People will be required to reduce breathing 20 percent until the state can determine what the environmental impact will be. State has begun working with several universities to develop treatment devices to reduce the emissions.

If they start testing for cholesterol levels, there's going to be a lot of drivers looking for new careers. I'm not trying to be funny, I've seen a lot of drivers lately and in the past that look like they're spending way too much time on the buffet line instead of exercising and I can say from experience that is not good.

I am not surprised at the constant efforts to eliminate sick drivers medically. It's just going to generate even more shortages until it is a actual fact other than cheap fisted non payroll problem at the same old tired .40 a mile.

One of my cousins did live a really bad life, he brought it on himself actually through his horrible social skills. Anyway isolated by everyone, he turned to food. Bad food. Eventually he ran the plaque in blood vessal issues combined with excessive fat and lack of physical activity. It got worse the heavier he got. Ultimately by 40 years old he weights so much that he was forced to call the EMT and fire to come get him Oxygen. He was starved for it. They had to cut him out of the apartment. But by then the heart failed. One of the two things that killed him. The cremation of his huge corpse was a travesty. It was difficult to keep the crematorium from overheating. (Believe it or not, it's based on how much fat you have in your body which is equal to a certain amount of Kerosene) But they got it done.

Another classmate who carried his weight really well... strong as a ox in his time (I should know, I went up against him as nose center in football... no one else wanted the job of stopping that freight train...) but no one realized he had a fundamental break within his heart where it connects to his main blood supply vessals. One day at middle age, it tore and dropped him. He had no chance. Then again he never felt bad enough to have a heart doctor build a 3D that would have saved his life.

Most people always shake it off nah, I'll just take a nap and feel better in a few hours. Boom Dead. How about you? You want that nap? or do you think a Doc should take a good look at you? Choose wisely. Your future depends on it.

You should consult with your doctor on this.
