    OK, just for fun, lets take the original scenario (under 150 mile run, continuing part of an interstate shipment).

    Let's add the wrinkle that the cargo is livestock. Under the new rules, livestock is exempt from HOS the first 150 miles from the farm, and the last 150 miles to the destination.....

    Which (first 150 or last 150) exemption applies to the last leg of the trip, or neither?

    Yes, I know that there's a blanket live stock exemption until the end of the month.
