Non Lethal Force options for personal protection?

Being a restricted pesticide license holder I was going to post on this subject. Thanks for saving me the time of looking it up as it’s been a while since I did the book work.
Along with this it’s important for people to know there are so many laws on the books that most people wouldn’t know they are breaking one and to assume there is no law just because someone didn’t post a link for you would be very foolish.

Pretty much the only cure for it is time and air..A fan in the face with cool air helps.You can pour water on your face and get in front of a fan also.... but make sure you dont let it run down to the lower portions. Recovery time is anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour or more. It feels like needles are being stuck in your eyes every time you try and open them. It took me close to an hour to get my eyes open the first time I got sprayed. I also got sprayed accidentally quite a few times during arrests over the years.. The spray contains a dye that can be seen with a black light up to 24 -48 after being sprayed. Some people say pouring milk on the face helps.
If you do have to use it spray just above the eyes in two second bursts. Usually no more then one or two bursts are needed. It's highly effective!

 

Yup, thanks Tumbleweed. I wanted the good stuff for when my daughter started college 2 years ago and settled on some garbage in addition to a stun gun. Moot point now i guess, she will be 21 in December and i'm going to talk her into CCW classes. She can have dads old trusty Sig 365. I think with as crazy as this worlds getting i'm going to carry a Sig Rattler for an EDC or the trusty p226.

 

I advocate also Martial Arts for women .

 

Very few women trained in "martial arts" can take a suspecting man twice her size.

Now Krav Maga is a whole different story. I've taught her my efficiencies which ended conflict more than once for me back in the day. It begins with a little verbal judo and then flight if possible.

She well understands at 125 pounds her limitations and the extreme harm she has to be willing to visit on another if she isn't going to be a statistic. I demonstrated to her 9th degree naive' belt friend how most "martial" arts fall short when someone slaps you into a rear naked choke in 2 seconds and now your fighting for your life.

 

Gotta admit. I’ve had a couple situations. Had gun in hand. Safety off. Finger on trigger. Asked God to take care of it. He did. (Should have asked sooner). Was like a reality change. Just walked away.
People, especially young, are getting more and more aggressive.
If you must stop someone. Shoot for the groin. Just crack that pelvic bone. They won’t move. No matter how much drugs they’re on.

 

They can still fire a shot, even if they're lying down.

Aiming for the crotch can have a deterrent effect upon some male attackers, but when it's time to fire you should always be aiming for center mass.

 

Big artery in thigh very close to crotch. Dead in approx 4 minutes. Its actually great place to shoot,esp. if there might be people behind them or they are wearing body armor. And really, shooting until threat stops is good idea. First shot might not be placed well and follow up shot is likelyto stop threat sooner and better.
