    I drove by the North 40 many times with my first job (I had a dedicated route). I only stopped there a couple times as it usually was not a convenient place for a break. This was before there was a Love’s at that exit.

    When the restaurant closed I knew it was just a matter of time. They really never recovered after rebuilding after the fire. Sad, but unfortunately, these independent stops aren't in business just to provide free parking.
