A skid pad training course on ice would be a good thing to require…

There's no real training for driving in snow and ice. That's another problem.

The conditions on Jupiter are probably less hostile than how that looked.

You can do skid pad training, but remember the road is not as wide as a skid pad.

Well since you took me so serious, I'll bite. If you can't find a truck stop, the I suggest you enroll in the class Creative Parking 101. In that class, you learn about anticipation and getting somewhere before conditions take a turn for the worst. You'll also learn how to check the radar on the weather app and gage where the storm is moving so plan accordingly. Also, you mind frame of "gotta get the load there" or "hurry up and wait" will be dissolved. You'll adopt the mindframe of "the load will get there right after I do." That way, you'll make every plan necessary in battling inclement weather. Now to be fair, there will be times a driver will have to battle through it. The idea is figuring out when it's best to go for it.

    bentstrider83, teams567 and mjd4277 Thank this.
