"Nosing in" ........WHY?

    it's been in the mid 40's for the last 3 weeks here in Chicago. heck, even hit 55* yesterday.....this winter is AWESOME!!!!!!!!

    Hell I rolled through Bismarck, ND. On 94 about 4-5 days ago and it was sunny and 42.

    I nosed in to tarp a load of conduit, just in case I pulled a humpty dumpty, someone might notice.

    Well, let's see...the number one accident, BY FAR, is backing. It is much safer to pull in nose first, then when you leave, "get out and look" to make sure no trucks are coming, put your flashers on, and begin backing. This is not pragmatic in all situations, but many times it works just great. I'll have my radio on every time I get ready to park or move so I can communicate with other drivers. It doesn't make you any less of a driver so don't let the radio no-it-all's try and convince you otherwise. :biggrin_25525:

    One thing of note, usually they will be gone by the time you finish your 10 hr. break.
