I'm nosed in right now! Why you ask....just to make others wonder why I nosed in!

Like I said, I wasn't calling anyone lazy for doing it, just pointing out what people say in an internet thread doesn't prove much. I agree with the exaggerating though.
As to the fuel island thing, I was never saying you personally held people up, just that I guarantee there are people on this forum that are that guy but they would never admit it on here. I have seen people sit in the fuel island to take a shower at the Pilot in Hesperia a couple times. The sad thing is at that Pilot there is almost always parking somewhere, it just might be a longer walk. There's a dirt lot at the end of the road that Pilot is on straight ahead at the stop sign that is almost never completely full, in fact usually mostly empty. -
That never ever happens. Ever.

Might just be because the logo on the trailer is so huge. Can't miss it. And they've got logos facing in every possible direction. So if anything happens, you're guaranteed to see that SWIFT logo. Not a lot of companies really do that.
Stevens you can't really see till you're right up on them. Werner is a toss up. Prime you have to see the cab itself unless you guess based on how horribly slow he's going (Swift can at least keep up sometimes).
It could just have been that the other two trucks were O/O's or that the offending truck took off before anyone saw the name. I haven't had any real problems with Swift but I did have a shiny new Prime truck back into the side of my sleeper a couple months ago. -
Ah, well....Prime's checks don't bounce either. Anymore.

I used to nose in the back row only if I could get a corner spot. That way I could tie my dog out and watch her while doing paper work or eating. She never complained about the way I parked

I used to nose in when I pulled reefer. Especially if the unit was running High, Continuous.
I done this as a courtesy to other drivers.cowboy_tech Thanks this. -
Why not just ask the tanker to move enough to give you more room? We often have only one loading/unloading point and have to wait for other trucks to to finish before its our turn. Pretty common occurrence. If it was me I would have moved my truck and spotted for you if approached without attitude.
