I am not saying to do this but, find a place to drop the trailer in a spot throw the pallets off which will take a hell of a long time sign the bills Peter Goesinya and take off. This is not the way to do business but it will get you out of there and lie if you have to.Some guy to me to unload them here transcore will never load you agin so win win lose lose.

Talked to broker and they are only willing to pay me $100 extra to drop and wait on the trailer. I told them that is not acceptable and I will just get rid of them. They said ok. It was in a sarcastic kind of I dare you tone though. Lol. I don't know what I am going to do yet. Sure don't want to run 500 miles round trip home but sure don't want to sit til who knows when for a $100 extra.

Not losing out on anything there. And drivers reading this thread now know anyone posting a load from McCalla, AL to Champaign, IL what the details are on this load and that it will have to command a premium if they want to cover it. It sounds like one of those loads where they breathe a sigh of relief every time a carrier books it and they can wash their hands of it. They know exactly what Kraft is doing. When Kraft runs short of pallets or ends up paying a premium to move them maybe they will get their act together. Probably not. They don't pay someone to wait and unload the pallet truck. Pallet truck is an annoyance and distraction from the product they ship somebody is aggravated you even showed up expecting them to drop everything and unload it.

Is it your truck? Then act like it! Signed BOL or not, if you can get that crap off your truck do it. Start throwing them out the back, and as the pile gets too high, pull forward. If the place is going to treat you like that, reciprocate. Then get to where YOU want to go.

Ya know, this is the kind of crap I cant believe happens. When I load the logs on the Canadians going back to Canada, I told them any time from 7 am to 11 pm I would load them. Work the extra to accommodate or help some one out. I understand it is an inconvenience but, what goes around comes around. Just know that your karma for helping someone out will come back to you.

if you start throwing the pallets off the only problem you are going to have is how long will it take the police to show up. were you late on your appointment because of your breakdown?

Go over to the OTR lot, find a TranscAM lease driver (they're all starving anyway) and pay him to off load ya...
