I'm just happy to be back on choice.. You guys may complain about rates at sni but if you leave you will come back.. You never know what you have until it's gone or you leave... No other program allows lease operators or owner operators to be profit and still maintain a healthy home life. Thats what's its all about.. You may leave and that fine. But when you're sitting at truck stop waiting to find a load for 3 days you'll be calling sni back...several guys I've met once I left were former choice drivers and they all were contemplating coming back... Just a little of my 2 cent lol

Um...no. You are painting a complicated picture with a broad, orange brush. -
Name an outfit where you can have a healthy home life and still profit... And pick your own loads.. Besides Landstar of course.. But then you'll deal with agents and the bs

I'm listening and think you make a good point.
What are some of the better points being with the other company you were leased on to?
SNI has a great freight base..that can't be disputed.
BUT..here lately the load board has been in the toilet.
It's getting harder and harder to book 4-5 days a head.
I believe (and others) that there is a reason SNI is playing with available loads.
Anyone else see a up swing in live load/unloads?
SNI preaches no hand held devices..yet gives you alerts when loads are confirmed.
And we all know it's the quick and the dead when booking freight.
I wont even start in on the trailer repositioning BS.
Choice is good..but not what it was.Pork Chop Express, PoleCrusher and TennMan Thank this. -
All depends on where you like to run.. me personally I stayed in the southeast south central part of the country and never had an issue..I don't book 4 to 5 days out..too much can happen...i always and will continue to book 3 loads out at a time. Yea we know they may play with the loads so what...All I'm saying is that when you leave and go else where the things you took for granted here on choice you'll miss...I've met numerous guys who had left and came back. Even met a guy at the company I left to who was on choice at said he was going back...a lot of drivers sit these days. I can honestly say I've never sat on choice or did a 34 in the 4 years I was here unless I wanted to. Which was maybe a handful of times. .just saying...I don't know I guess my ICA and I had and still have a great repor but I never had any issues..if a trailer move comes my way and it makes sense and its in the direction I'm going sure. Beats paying 600 a month for trailer payment and having to fix whatever is wrong out of your pocket..

Yeah I'm with you on that..been here for 18 months and STILL haven't done a 34 on the road.
I run the Northeast..guess I'm a glutton for punishment.
But it works.
Still tired of the BS of a mega carrier though.PoleCrusher Thanks this. -
I stay home all week and only run Holidays.... we all know that's when the high dollar loads are delivered.
CaptainDaveG Thanks this.
