Okay. Yeah I think if you at least have bobtail insurance , the state patrol in each state Should understand , if you are on your way to an orientation. I would just keep that keep truckin' e log on your phone and keep your statuses updated just in case, and you should be ok.

Use the 8 days work in 30 days exemption - which allows you to use paper logs. Go to the FMCSA.dot.gov website and print out the exemption if you’re worried about it.

 

Paper logs, you are not technically a commercial vehicle, you are at this point personal conveyance.
