I have a lot of faith in Prime. My recruiter Tammy was never anything but honest and up front with me. This is definately the company I want to go with.

Right, that is what I am saying. That is the only kind of company to work for. Any company that doesn't care is not worth your time to work for.

Thanks for all the good wishes for my wife. I think what I am gonna do is wait until late December or right after the first of the year to reapply. This way my wife will be back on her feet and back to work and the holiday season will be over. I will start the new year fresh, ready to rock and roll!!

Check with your recruiter on this to make sure you don't have any ugly surprises when you're ready to give it another go.

    Good luck!

Actually no. However, it pays to be proactive with these things - you don't want to get to the reapply point and then find that you need to start all over with different companies.

I have been out of work in the construction field since last November. Went and got my cdl and applied to Prime. They told me I was out of work to long to get a job. They won't hire if you have been out of work for over 5 months.

Yup... its difficult to explain to DOT. That being said, there are other companies... May Trucking, Willis Shaw Express, Maverick... to name a few.

Going to orientation with swift on Sep 15th. Going to take my lumps and pay my dues for a year the get something else. Had a small company about 8 miles from home tell me they will hire me with six months and run regional out of Massachusetts and be home weekends. Just need to put in my time and I guess swift will be as good as many.

I have actually been working full time so that is not a strike against me. I will have to quit my job to go to Prime.
