Wow. Hope she is ok. If it wasnt hurting her, or causing any other problems I wouldnt want them touching it if it were me. But thats me. I have had cancer before, and if I do get it again I will let it kill me before taking chemo. Radiation, if not for a long time I have to take it, will take that but will take my chances living on vicodin and other pain killers before taking chemo. That being said, thats me.

Prime shouldnt "backlist" you for that. I mean its not like you went and left in the middle of the night like I did. I really did do that. I was going to go through the training and it was the trainer I was supposed to go out with and his fleet manager who made me change my mind real quick. I am currently reapplying and trying to get back to Prime. They did label me no re hire but recruiter and couple others on the inside looking to get that situation changed for me. I did let them know I was leaving though. Spoke with Shane Lowe personally. Hopefully all will go well and I will be there soon. Only advice I can give you if you are going for training, dont forget the birth certificate with the STATE seal. That is what they meant in 2005 by "original" birth certificate. But if you do like I did and take the original from the hospital your mama got when you were born talk to Shane (if hes still down in recruiting) and they will accept it. Wish ya the best. On both accounts, with Prime and with your wifes situation.

The wife had a procedure to get all of this checked out. No cancer but a lot of other stuff going on. I will be reapplying to Prime just after the beginning of the year and will let the chips fall where they may.

I graduated from driving school and got my CDL the last of April 2009. I applied a few weeks ago at Prime and a few others. I was turned down because I'd been out of school too long. You might ask your recruiter if that's going to make a difference when you re-apply. Best of luck!

When I went there in 2002 I finished orientation and was approved to go out for a short training ride with a trainer before getting in my own truck. Anyway, the fog of years has caused me to forget why, but I had to go home after orientation.

Long story short, I was up front and honest with them about it. They paid my bus ticket home, and arranged for my trainer to pick me up in Iowa 3 weeks later.

I would probably still be there pulling skateboards if my darned ex-wife hadn't made me come off the road...:biggrin_25510:
