LOL they aren't that narrow.. they are 13.5 feet... that is wide enough.. I don't even slow down on them anymore.. They are just 1 lane so it seems tight..
Not gonna lie..

I wouldn't worry about it, the fall alone would kill you before you drown.john kedz, Tonythetruckerdude and WitchingHour Thank this. -
drive back and forth across the chesapeak bay bridge tunnel until you have a heart attack or it is ok
only 22 mile long bridge with 2 1 mile long tunnels in the middle
everything isnt bigger in texas -
Given the condition of some of these bridges I'm scared too. Most of the high profile bridges are pretty well looked after......... It's the run of the mill bridges that you have to worry about.

Just before you cross a bridge close your eyes and don't open them till you get to the other side !!..

I was never scared of bridges, until 8 years ago while on vacation in S Carolina. I took my mom and son on a little side day trip to Charleston. Don't remember which highway, but there was a bridge into Charleston that scared the living **** out of me. VERY HIGH and VERY NARROW. The most narrow bridge I ever drove on. Ever since then, I get a little jittery on bridges. Can't wait to get OFF.

Try the Chesapeake Bridge/Tunnel... 23 miles of fun. At one point you can't see either shore.....

Bridges don't bother me, but they bother the other half...a lot. The tilted, 35 mph curved overpasses that are about as high up as they can get them, like in portland (that dump you onto a bridge with almost no room to merge) and dallas REALLY get me. They make me sick to my stomach...always feel like the truck is just gonna slide off or dump over...ugh.
